ÉVIKE’S BIOGRAPHY:
My handball career started in Nádudvar when I was eleven. I started as a goalkeeper because a few balls stuck to me. :) With the local school’s team we achieved good results in tournaments, in the kid’s Olympics (in the last year we won the gold medal).
I started high school in Debrecen, so I became the player of DVSC for the following 8 years. During this time we achieved many good results with the youth team (the 2nd place in The World Games is a very greatt memory for me), I got into the first team and in 2005 I became a goalkeeper in the first division. With Loki I had many great results, for instance we were 2nd in the championship, won a medal in the Hungarian Cup and we participated in the Champions League.
After that there was a period of roaming in my life, I played in Veszprém in 2011/12, in Siófok in 2012/13, from 2013-2015 I became a player of Fehérvár KC for two seasons in Székesfehérvár.
In the period of my youth national team membership, the best result we had was the 3rd place in the European Championship. I became a solid member of the National team during the period of Karl Eric Böhn and I also participated my very first European Championship as a professional in Serbia, and straight away we finished 3rd. In the World Championship in 2013 we were 8th and in 2014 in the European Championship we finished in 6th place with the National Team.
During my career I had the chance to work with many great goalkeeper coaches like Imre Bíró, János Szathmári, Irina Sirina and Tímea Sugár and also thanks to them I achieved the honour of best handball goalkeeper of the year in 2013, 2014.
I have made great friends through the sport who all believed believe in me.
