When anyone starts a series, the first time is always something very special for her. She wants everything to with a swing and obvisously success and at the end. That is just the same how I started, with long preparation, agree on time, make sure it fits with everybody from the youngest to the oldest. Everything was ready for the start, we knew script, number of players, we were ready for everything. And than life again proof that a good director and what can be exciting a big makes sure it turns to be. But main truth, something what you fight for, makes it more valuable and that is how it became really your own child
The schedule looked like that the Fehervár’s first team will fly back from London on the day before and sleep one and get fresh for the event. The first team goalkeepers were important participants (Fanni Cziráky, Brigitta Trimmel, Melinda Szikora) and also the boss of the youth department (Rita Deli), my help with on the organisation side (Kynsburg Zoltán) and myself. The cab drivers in London had a different opinion about the way to the airport, so part of the team got stuck in the London Luthon airport for the night .
Who ever tried to spend a night on an airport knows sleeping is not really part of the program. Rita Deli, Fanni Cziráky, Zoltán Kynsburg and with some of other mates we were left behind, but came back with new experinece, because obvisously our Luthon trip is still great as a story to tell. But by the time, there it was still a big doubt about that can we fly back in time, can we get back in time to town.
Finally we reached everything in time, without any sleep, but everything went with a swing. Was the time when we felt we made the right thing with keeping the schedule and taking the challenge of it. The joy of the kids which made us very happy, just compensated everything! We made not only special, but memorably moment the kick off of the Goalkeepers Gathering .
